Watched a newly released DVD Wanted with husband tonight. That was something, surprises and twists! Hubby gave it a 8 out of 10, and I agree with him on the rating. It's still fresh in my mind, I loved a couple of scenes that made me laugh.
How do you rate it?

Coupon Bag
On Black Friday, I lost my bag of coupons... it happened at Walmart looking for a good deal. A 12" long and 3 inches thick purple envelope with hairband around it. I didn't put my name on it.
I like to think a mother with 3 kids found the envelope and use it. Then she too would start couponing. That's a good thought. My coupon envelope was getting worn and didn't have enough room anymore. My husband came up with a great idea of a backpack (since I don't carry purses but coupon envelope) with notebook and baseball card envelopes. I think I'd like that. My mother tells me "Necessity is the mother of invention". I willna forget to add my name on it.

Black Friday buys
The deed is done. I've shopped a year's worth.

First stop was at Sears for the Kenmore 3.5 cu. ft. front load high efficiency washer & Kenmore 5.8 cu. ft. dryer at $599.99 for the pair. A once a year deal!
-----------------------------------------------

Next stop Home Depot for Ryobi Super Combo Set plus a free Ryobi One+ Tool, along with Gorilla 17' Multi-Position Ladder and Table Saw that my husband wanted. What's surprisingly is they took the 10% off Home Depot coupon. The receipt reflected that -
18V Super Combo Kit $159.00 (Torque IV mode selector, 2-speed drill transmission and 24-position clutch, P201 cordless drill, magnetic bit holder and 2 bits, 9501 circular saw with edge guide, P510 reciprocating saw with 2 blades, P700 flashlight, 2 rechargeable battery packs, 1 hour diagnostic charger and tool bag)
Ryobi One+ 18V Cordless Jigsaw $49.97 (FREE ONE+ TOOL -$49.97)
Gorilla 17' Multi-Position Ladder $89.00
Table Saw with stand $99.00
(10% off -$34.70)
Total before tax $310.30.
-----------------------------------------------
Then Lowes for 14 gallon, 4.5 hp Wet/Dry Shop Vac $29. A real special value.

-----------------------------------------------
And lastly Kmart, a nice deal there too. Essential Home 5-piece Drop Leaf Dining Set for 79.99 (table & 4 chairs)

Will I shop again on Black Friday next year? For sure!

Black Friday hunt
Okay, here's what I'm planning to do on Black Friday.
5:00 a.m. Sears opens
Kenmore High Efficiency frontload washer & dryer $599 (this sounds like $599 for the washer if you also buy the dryer which cost $479.99).
6:00 a.m. Home Depot opens
LG large capacity washer & dryer pair $998 (in case the Kenmore didn't go through)
Ryobi 18V Super Combo Kit and Free Ryobi One+ Tool $159
17' Gorilla Multi-Position Ladder $89
7:00 a.m. GameStop opens
GameStop is having Buy 2 Get 1 Free on all used games and accessories. I'm looking for Persona 4 ($10 used), Mana Khemia: Alchemist of Al-Revis ($10 used) and Resident Evil 4 ($9.99 new) on PS2.
I'd have liked Playstation 3 especially when Final Fantasy XIII comes out. Rumors has it, FFXIII will be released December 2009. Seems awful long time. If that's the case, I can wait for the PS3 price reduction.

Freebies & I
Yesterday (except when watching Wall-E with my husband - review & rating at bottom of today's post) and today I spent most of the days looking for freebies. I'm in no way an expert. I'm a total newbie at this. But I did find what I think was a great site (apart from The Freebie Blogger, it's still awesome).
http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/freebies-individuals/ It is a forum of all the freebies link input from users, isn't that neat? But whether we're getting them by mail remains to be seen.
There's free 20 oz. Dr. Pepper, http://www.drpepper.com/ (obtained from the forum), starting Sunday 12:01 a.m. (yes right after midnight), sign up to get the coupon. Available for 24 hours.
I wouldn't suggest anything else except that you go and look at the forum yourself. Things I like may not be things you like. If you ask me for suggestion... I would start babbling that I like this or that but I wouldn't buy it because because because.
To tell you a bit about myself I'm a huge fan of anime/manga, but it's not for the majority of the population. My husband's a huge fan of World of Warcraft online. We worked it out, but we're too comfortable to stay at home instead of socializing, do sports outside, out to dinner, shopping for clothes, etc... I get to go out when I know there's sales, bargains, rebates or big saves! For electronics, they get mailed to the house, amazon.com is a great place to buy all your electronic needs. While amazon.com are reasonable priced, I like to wait for sales too. You want to know what's inside your electronics and the reviews from the customers are just as important, it made more sense to me to order online. Subscription to consumerreports.org (online, not magazine) are vital to my research of electronics. While many models aren't on the report, it helps relieve my worries some if I buy on products that has good review. My expectations are then good. Again, I wouldn't suggest products to you, I'm unique myself in things I desire. I look for quality, review, reliability and then price in that order. Price are just as important, but I would want things that I buy to last long. Quality better be very good if I'm going to use it.
Let me end my babbles and start on reviews.
REVIEW & RATING:
Wall-E blu-ray
I give this a 7.5 out of 10 rating (10 being the best of all time). I wonder which came first to the minds of Disney staffs, the obesity, the environment or the robot? It fits with what we all need to see in this generation. I willna say more.
Tropic Thunder
Same rating 7.5, it was as entertaining! With some surprise in it.
Lions for Lambs
6.5 rating on this film for great concept, it explains the influence of media and events during War on Terror, how detached the Americans have become. Worth watching.
Hope you enjoy these movies as much as I did.

Nov. 19 '08 - Today is Target
Got Wall-E blu-ray at Target for $25.99 - Mailed the rebate (Buy one Disney DVD or Blu-ray title: Wall-E, Sleeping Beauty, Tinkerbell or Narnia, and two Minute Maid 64 cartons, get rebate of $5.00 by mail) today. They also had clearance on Duracell AA 24 pack batteries for 8.98 and I used the $1.50 Duracell coupon for it. I didn't save tonight, the weather was cold, a twin size electric blanket was found in the cart. It may have been a good idea to resist the impulse, do a customer rating check online for an electric blanket though it was on sale at $29.99. I'll test it myself anyhow. Maybe in the long run I'll save on house heating bill.
I did find $1 coupon on 24 pack Purina Fancy Feast canned cat food. It was something I needed to get as my cat only eats the grilled kind. Gravy is her name, a picky eater, lovable cuddly 10 years old cat, and I am her servant. Her absolute favorite is Sheba canned food. It's expensive, so on holidays she is treated a Sheba. She is also picky about treats. Aren't they all candies? Lucky for us both, she does eats Temptation Hairball control and I try to buy that when it's on sale and with coupon handy. But today I just gave in and bought the box. Since I gave in, I also bought Lifesavers Gummies (10% More Free)... I did have a coupon, $1.00 off for one.
Tomorrow I will arm myself again.
On that note, ShopRite is selling Minute Maid for $1.99 this week, I'll keep that in mind if I'm going there to shop. Get another two Minute Maids and save the receipt to go with Narnia DVD or Blu-ray when it's out December 2 (Disney rebate of $5 is limited to one title, but 4 per household).
That ends today's Target post.

First Blog - Why Start?
Ah yes I'm officially a blogger. I don't know what your reasons are for having a blog or reading one. But I think this would prove useful... my most important reason... my poor husband need time away from all the rave and rant. I did pick the name HAPPY Save Camper, didn't I? Well... I'm happy when I'm saving! And I will even camp for the save! Makes sense? My joy in life is when I find the opportunity to save, it's not just money, but water, food, bills and all the wants without sacrificing comfort. Let's start my first blog by showing off this amazing savings that anyone can easily do. The credit deserves to go to http://thefreebieblogger.com/, she got me hooked to it after all.
FreebieBlogger introduced to me the CVS ECBs, now I'm a happy save customer of CVS!

Awesome! I'm off to a great start.
But my happiness was short-lived.
Shortly after midnight, due to excitement, I decided on going to Walmart (Tuesday - new movie releases!) for Wall-E and Tropic Thunder! Walmart had a sale for Blu-ray Deluxe (the 3-Disc pack) for $24.86 and Tropic Thunder DVD at $16.97. But at the store, I got disappointed. Wall-E Deluxe blu-ray was tagged with $29.96. Hmm, was that lower price only for online order... I didn't find Walmart circular this week. I didn't buy the Wall-E.
Tomorrow I'll go to Target. Target has Wall-E blu-ray on their circular for $25.99. There is a rebate of $5.00 when you buy Disney DVD or Blu-ray (Sleeping Beauty, TinkerBell, Wall-E or Narnia) and 2 Minute Maid. You find this rebate in Minute Maid 64 oz. cartons or the official site minutemaid.com/disney (expires Feb. 16, 2009). You can do this again for Narnia, the limit rebate is 4 per household (one only for each title).
I did stop by Giant food grocery store for Minute Maid... and few other things.
GIANT FOOD STORE ------------------------

Both the coupon and rebate was found in P&G saverBrand. That would make it 29¢ after coupon & rebate.
